Wood turning is a particular love of Barb's. Spindle turnings, bowls, hollow forms, plates, and bracelets, are all fashioned from a multitude of wood species. Fan Carving is another passion - one of the oldest forms of woodcarving, that originated in eastern Europe. Shaker boxes, in a variety of sizes, are made without glue, using copper tacks and wooden pegs. Barb also explores other techniques such as marquetry, pyrography, 

and kolrosing.
